Self Love

Self love is so important.  It involves taking care of your own needs and accepting yourself unconditionally. There can be a lot of  pressures to do more, be more, achieve more and this can leave a lot of room for self judgement. Being in tune with yourself, your emotions, and your needs is necessary in order to be the best version of yourself. You cannot care and love for another's needs if you do not first love and care for your own. There are adverse experiences that can happen that impact how one may feel about themselves. This can make it hard to have that self love and unconditional acceptance. 

Steps to more self love 

* Recite positive affirmations 

*Do not compare yourself to others

*Start a journaling practice 

*Pay attention to thoughts/ self talk 

*Treat yourself like you would a dear friend 

*Take care of your basic needs (sleep/ nutrition)

*Find a good routine for yourself 

*Get regular physical activity
